June Challenge: Day 7

Day 7 – Your Favorite Place To Shop



I really do not have a favorite place to shop. I don’t like shopping that much anymore. Maybe because I have gotten older or maybe because I got bills. LOL!


I am one of those people who scours the Internet looking for a particular item and then I go to the store to purchase it. I don’t lollygag or anything straight to what I want and I am out.


The only place I really would just take my time shopping in would be a bookstore. Roots and Wings here in Alabama closed many years ago, but it had the right ambiance where you could take off your shoes and lie on the floor for hours perusing books. I miss that place.


I do find myself getting overwhelmed in Home D.epot when I am looking for flowers and plants. They have too much stuff and I get so caught up I have to shake it off or else I am going to be broke.


As much as I love shoes, I can’t spend hours in a shoe store. I either find “it” immediately or it is a bust. We have a DSW here, finally. I have only been once. Really. Well, it doesn’t help it is out east and out east to me means Shorter, Alabama and my gas is too precious for all that.


So really my favorite place to shop is online. It is easier and keeps me from having to deal with crowds. Unfortunately, I rarely order shoes online. I must try them on and make sure I can walk and slink in them bad boys!
